OQRS or Online QSL Request System is a tool to help both the DX chaser and the DXpeditioner. Here at the United Radio QSL Bureau I am doing my very best to reduce costs to the World IARU Bureaus, to you and myself.
For DXpeditions and many rare DX, they do not need your incoming QSL card. There is no need to be putting your QSL through the Bureau system clogging up valuable time and money for the Bureaus.
Why? Because it is these DXpeditions that are trying to give you a new DXCC or IOTA or Zone. This is for your benefit. Always use the OQRS system for your Bureau Request.
From feedback I have had, Bureau QSL cards are being delivered in some countries in less that 2 months.
All Bureau cards here are posted every 3 – 4 months directly to the World IARU Bureaus by Priority Air Mail to ensure faster delivery. This cuts the delivery time by almost 2 years.
